This blog will explore the intersection of prehistoric artworlds and contemporary critical discourse.
Here is a map with the places my rock art research has taken me. Bigger circles mean more research, like in Northeast Brazil (Piauí, Bahia, Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe, Ceará, plus sites in Minas Gerais and Tocantins) and the Antilles (Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Anguilla, Barbados). This also includes western European megaliths in Carnac, France, and southern England, plus a few rock art sites in northern Portugal visited during the IFRAO 1998 meetings. The dot in Australia represents a few sites visited during the IFRAO/AURA meeting in 2000 at Alice Springs
